Family Week of Fun!

Marc and Paige and their 5 kids came for a week. It was quit a week. Never a dull moment or down time.
Monday we went to Jetty Island, or "my jelly island" as Sophie calls it. The water is so warm and shallow and its tons of fun for the kids.

The kids worked all day on this pool and then when the tide came in they did everything to save it. Sophie was the last one still trying to save it as the water took over. She just kept yelling, "guys, come on." They had moved on.

I wonder who he gets the belly from? Sorry dude, it a curse.

Tuesday we laid low while Marc's gang went on a hike. Then we all met at Andrew and Emily's for a BBQ and slip and slide fun....down hill...with soap. Sadly no pictures of this but some VERY entertaining home video.

Wednesday we went on Scott's boat and watched everyone try to wake board. Very entertaining. The little girls shot up with no problem. Henry discovered that he LOVES boats. Then we went to Scott and Britney's for dinner.

Thursday Marc's Family headed downtown to do all the fun stuff down there. We met for the daily swim at Grandmas and then dinner.

Friday the girls all went to see The American Girl movie. Grandma, Aunt Megan and myself all wanted to see it but needed younger ones to not look too silly. I loved it. Then of course more swimming and family dinner!

Saturday Paige got up and did her Triathlon. Then that night we had Family Baseball.

The downstairs bathroom looked like a Ross dressing room (as Katie put it) when everyone was swimming!

Allison at the House of Eastman. Allison also known as Fancy is one of my favorite people ever! i can't say enough about her...she is so beautiful inside and out...she is an example of the type of person i want to be. and she also has an adorable family-Sam, Sophie and Henry who never fail to make me smile. and as if all of that is not enough-Fancy has been know to blog about some great deals!

Noelle has always amazed me and even more now that I get to read her blog daily. She has helped her husband get through medical school with 4 kids. She just is so tough and I wish I was more like her. She is truly AMAZING!

Becky never stops amazing me. She has a beatiful angel, Abby. She is such an amazing mother and wife. I wish I could half the faith, love and patients she does. She is also TRULY amazing.

I'm behind on my blog and have tons to post to catch up on.

Marc and his kids were here for a week and it was NON stop action.
We decided to refinish our furniture....sigh....
And I broke out in HIVES which has been the WORST thing ever. Nothing is working. It's the worst itching and pain I have felt.

It happened...pretty sure it happened?

My mom is going to be horrified that I blogged this. It's just who I am and too funny not to tell.
Remember my warnings of fiber one bars? You know, don't ever go close to them?
I had one today. OK, not a huge deal. So I was a little gassy all day. Didn't even think about Crossfit being tonight. I head to crossfit feeling a little queasy.
Crossfit is a whopping 100 pull ups, 100 push ups, 100 sit ups, and 100 squats. I am dying but doing OK till the sit ups. I can't get even through my first one.
Here's how it played out...
Me~I.CANT.DO.THIS.
Cara~Let her do crunches or something.
Me~seriously Dan, I'm dying. I can't
Dan~ .............
Cara~Maybe you can do something else.
Me~See this gut I have is in the way. I have done 3 of the 100 by now.
Me~I really should NOT have had the fiber one bar today.
Dan~............
Me~I'm not here, I'm not doing this, I'm somewhere else. I am at 50 now.

Me~ Did I? No....I couldn't have. I am having an outer body experience and I don't even know where I am right now. I am going to throw up. Its 7,000 degrees in here. Sweat running off of me.
Me~DONE with the sit ups...Sweat dripping off of me.
Me~This sucks.
Dan~100 squats.
I get through the squats.
laying on the floor sweating, panting...can't fell body. What just happened in the last 27 minutes?
We get in the car.
Me~Cara I am pretty sure I farted in the middle of the sit ups. I seriously can't remember since I was in another zone. I'm pretty sure I did.
Cara~uncontrollable laughter.

Concert at the Park/Beach

We hit downtown Kirkland today for there concert series they do. I thought it would be more kids oriented(that's what it is suppose to be), but really it was some guy who didn't really quit make it to the big time being a country singer. Still fun. They had free popsicles from Trader Joe's and water bottles from the hospital. The kids loved it...

I really didn't think anyone would think that the picture below was real. Didn't even cross my mind. I was just playing with the photo. Sophie thinks its real though...LOL

We met Cara, Emily and Debra at Pump it up on Tuesday. I asked Sophie to grab some socks as we were leaving and this is what we ended up with...
Wednesday we went to Zeek's Pizza with Katie and her kids she nannies for lunch!
